1st day recap

Today went fairly well. I woke up hungry and craving coffee but only satisfied my desire for caffeine. I made a big pot of basic tomato soup containing only tomatoes, onion and mushrooms. I am going to eat as much of this soup as I want for the first week. It wasn't bad but needed salt. Then the slipping began.

As I mentioned before today is my wife's birthday and good friends were visiting with their children for two meals. The first was barbecue. I cooked up hot dogs, hamburgers and sausages. On a normal day I would have had at least one of each. I did cheat a little and are one sausage but tore off most of the bread on the bun. For dinner we ordered Chinese so I drank another cup of my soup before the food arrived. I think this decision made my Chinese decision easier. I ended up eating 2 chicken balls and 2 chicken wings.

I also had 2 diet Ginger Ales and 3 bottles of water. So all in all it was not a bad day. Normally I would be eating my fourth meal of the day now. I almost always eat 3 sandwiches or a big bowl of cereal before bed. Not tonight. Weigh in in the morning. Good night.
